by Reverend Yawovi Nyonato and Andreas Klamm
Lomé/Togo/Africa. John Baptist Mission Togo in Africa has received the preacher Robert Burgess from GREAT EAGLE INTERNATIONAL Ministries, www.gem-international.org, in the United States of America in their mission in Togo.
During his visit preacher Robert Burgess sent a pastor of Nigeria with a sum on money to make preparations. For unknown reasons this pastor did not come to Togo and the money was kept with him.
The preacher Robert Burgess passed through Liberia before coming to Ghana and Reverend Yawovi Nyonato was going to travel with the preacher from Ghana to Togo.
Reverend Yawovi Nyonato has said: „We live hard, but the God of peace leaves us forever. We have baptized 10 new converts to the church of Baptist in Tsévié . What Jesus has promised us the Holy Spirit descended on 5 of the 10 baptized and really this is the joy for us. 5 of them received the Holy Spirit immediately. There were grants.“
Preacher Robert Burgess taught in the New Testament Church of Togo on Sunday past. He taught also in Kévé for a lot. Both, Reverend Yawovi Nyonato and preacher Robert Burgess which was called in certain locations even an „Apostle“ will return for a seminar of pastors between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.. On the evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m he will teach in a Pentecostal church in Lomé. Before the departure of the preacher on March 25, the reverend and the preacher will visit another village.
„To rent a car, the mission workers of John Baptist Mission pay dearly every day and they just have to ask you help us with everything you can for the organization and visits to other villages.
We need your assistance to rent the car, which costs us every shift round-trip to $ 100 and we rent also the instruments sound. We are preparing also to the pastors who come from far away to eat in the program. The generator also is rented in the villages there is no electricity.
Even your aid to buy a vehicle and the instruments of evangelization will be welcomed and may God bless you. We need your support to reach other villages.“, said Reverend Yawovi Nyonato.
The preacher will stay until March 25, 2008 in Togo, Africa.
